I have a box and in this box is a puzzle. Once assembled the puzzle will be a picture of a loving protest on the ban on same sex marriage. The protest will be in the form of an art show called Sanctity of Love in Art.
The Art and show will represents romance between same sex couples and the love that grows within them on their journey to live peacefully in a heterosexual world, in hope of being treated fairly with the same rights as others.
My dilemma is that this puzzle has many pieces and while I can see its vision in my mind’s eye, I do not know yet how all the pieces fit together.
I invite you to become an important component to this puzzle, and to help me manifest this vision. There are many choices and decisions to be made on the path to manifest this vision, one person cannot do it all. Your help is needed; to quote a phrase “It takes a village.”
I am asking you today to join in this small but powerful effort to make a mark on the resistance to the equality of love for all and bring an awareness of how this affects the lives of same sex couples across the world.
