A Jar, A Jar, A Jar

What is it about glass jars? The fact that you can see right through them to find what someone has placed inside, right in plain sight is so intriguing to me. Like little jewel boxes full of treasure.

I am a nut for jars and I find them every where, junk stores, thrift shops and garage sales. When I come across a good one it’s hard to resist bringing it home. For $1.00 to $5.00 how can you say No! I bring then home wash them and fill them with all kinds of things. I keep an array of them in my kitchen.

They cover my kitchen window so the natural light can flow through them like crystals. Not too much of what I purchase at the food store stays in the original box it came in. I fill every jar with goodies to share with the company of friends.
